Herbal Studies: Oat Straw

Oat Straw is the leafy sheaf and stalk that cover the oats. Once harvested they can be dried and used to create herbal tinctures and teas for medicinal use.

Oat Straw is a powerhouse herb commonly found in moon teas or herbal teas supporting the bleeding body.

Its also recommended from Midwives to their pregnant clients as a way of boosting their overall wellbeing.

Because Oat Straw is a nourishing herb that has the natural ability to calm and strengthen the nervous system while also promoting rest and healing it has been useful in supporting the postpartum body.

As you can see Oat Straw really is a beneficial plant to work with throughout your reproductive journey. You can purchase your own herbs at a local herb shop or visit The Kindred Feminine to purchase supportive teas and tinctures.
