Nurtured Roots for Expectant Mothers: Empowering the Journey Within

My name is Sarah and I am a trained and experienced Full Spectrum Doula and Childbirth educator, I am also a daughter, a mother of three, and a grandmother. Each of these roles have given me vastly different perspectives as I have moved through life and they have helped me to develop a sense of who I am meant to be as a mother. My personal experiences combined with my professinal training and interactions with other pregnant folks have allowed me to better understand the importance of informed choice, trust in one's body, and the ability to feel safe while being vulnerable on the journey of mothering. 

This is why  Nurtured Roots for Expectant Mothers:  Empowering the Journey Within was developed. During this 6 week holistic pregnancy and parenting cohort we will come together in weekly gatherings to explore the complexities of motherhood, delve into aspirations and fears or barriers to “good parenting”, and cultivating nurtured relationships with community, family, partners, and children. 

We will use weekly workshops, personalized one-on-one coaching, and compassionate village support to discuss topics like

- Reflecting on motherhood on a micro and macro level

- Cultivating your own intimate community or village support

- Addressing mother wounds before passing them along

- The importance of fourth trimester preparedness and selfcare

- How our emotions show up in our body

Each attendee will recieve a custom crafted postpartum herbal tea and herbal sitz bath blend at the close of our time together.
